About
Built for the move,
not the memo.
Sheffield Firm exists because founders deserve advisors who execute, not just opine. We integrate legal, capital, and strategic services because the work itself is integrated — and the people doing it should be too.
The Firm
Why Sheffield Firm
Most growing companies hit the same wall. A deal materializes — a fundraise, an acquisition, a partnership — and suddenly the founder is coordinating a law firm, a banker, and a strategy consultant who have never spoken to each other. Three retainers, three sets of revisions, three weeks lost to translation.
Sheffield Firm collapses that into one engagement. We run the diligence, structure the deal, and pressure-test the strategy under one roof. Founders move faster. Decisions stay coherent. Capital and counsel pull in the same direction.
One firm. Three capabilities. Zero wasted motion.
Founder
Chase Sheffield
Chase started Sheffield Firm because he kept watching capable founders pay three advisors to do half the job. He believes the answer isn’t a bigger team — it’s a more integrated one.
His training sits at the intersection of law, capital, and operations. He practices law in Tennessee, holds Series 7 and 63 licenses, trained as an industrial engineer, and serves as a commissioned officer in the Army Reserve. The combination is unusual on purpose: deals don’t respect professional boundaries, and neither should the people running them.

How We Work
Operating Principles
01
Integrated, not stacked
One team running diligence, structure, and strategy together — so decisions stay coherent across the deal.
02
Execution over advice
We measure ourselves on whether the move closed and held up, not on the thickness of the deliverable.
03
Founder-aligned
We work for the operator at the table, not the firm down the hall. Pricing and pacing are built around that.
